Great Start Scholarship Recipients
Robbie Hess and Logan Worrick have been awarded MidAmerica National Bank’s Great Start Scholarships for the 2019-2020 school year. The Great Start Scholarships were created to help students get a “great start” on their education.
Marc “Robbie” Hess is a recent graduate of Lewistown High School and is starting his freshman year at Bradley University. He is planning to pursue a degree in civil engineering and specialize in environmental engineering. After college Robbie plans to return to the Fulton County area and support farmers in the rural setting by testing and monitoring the water and soil content to ensure the health and well-being of the food production.
Logan Worrick graduated early from Midwest Central High School in 2018 and received an Associate in Arts degree from Illinois Central College. He is starting his senior year at Augustana College and in the not-so-distant future, plans to attend a law school and seek a J.D. in Constitutional Law. His ultimate goal and aspiration is to give back to his community and country by running for a public office as either a Judge or Legislator.
Robbie and Logan were each presented with $500 scholarships that will be applied to their college tuition.
