Go Green Banking

Did you know Earth Day is coming up next month? On April 22, we celebrate the earth and work together to protect our planet. Whether you celebrate every year and are looking for new ways to “go green,” or if you want to celebrate this year and don’t know where to start, MNB has some helpful green banking tips to get you started on protecting the planet today.
Save a trip to the bank:
- Mobile banking – With our mobile banking, you can check your balance and transactions and move money between your accounts anytime, anywhere from your computer or smart device.
- Mobile check deposit – This feature is a part of our mobile banking that allows you to deposit a check right from your smartphone or tablet.
- Online application – We have options to apply online for products such as mortgage and consumer loans and credit cards. This will also help you cut back on paper.
- Appointment scheduling – You can schedule an appointment on our website or by phone with our Personal Bankers, Lenders, or Wealth Management Group to open accounts or have a meeting about our services.
Save paper and fuel:
- eStatements – You can help save paper by signing up to receive eStatements through mobile banking.
- P2P – With P2P service, you can forgo writing a check, and instead, send payments to people electronically. Not only can you save paper, but you can save a trip to pay someone in person.
- Bill Pay – When you use our online Bill Pay to pay your bills, you can cut back on envelopes and stamps, as well as a trip to pay or mail your bills.
- Combined statements – If you don’t take advantage of our eStatements, you can opt for combined statements. Some of our Checking, Savings, and CD accounts allow you to combine your statements instead of getting multiple statements in the mail.
