External Transfers

You can move money more efficiently with external transfers at MNB

If you want to transfer money from your MidAmerica National Bank account to an account you hold at another financial institution – or vice versa – it is an external transfer. If you want this transfer to occur on a regular basis, you can set up a recurring external transfer.

What are the benefits of external transfers?
External transfers are an easy and safe way to move funds between accounts at different financial institutions. At any time, from any computer or mobile device, you can transfer funds to one of your accounts.

What types of accounts are eligible for external transfers?
You can use checking and savings accounts on which you are an individual or joint account holder. You can also use external transfers from an account you hold at another financial institution to make a MidAmerica National Bank loan payment.

How does it work?
Contact us to request using external transfers within Online Banking. We will ask you for information to add your external account and you will verify the account through a challenge deposit. Once this process is complete, you are ready to make one-time or recurring external transfers when needed.
