Multi-Factor Authentication

Extra Protection for Your Digital Banking

A quick verification is coming soon to help keep your account secure.

At MidAmerica National Bank, protecting your information is a responsibility we take seriously. To continue safeguarding your accounts, we’re adding Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) to Digital Banking.
With MFA, after you enter your password, you’ll complete a quick one time code verification to help confirm it’s really you.

What Is Multi‑Factor Authentication?
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security feature that helps protect your account by requiring more than just a username and password.

When MFA is enabled:
- Log in with your username and password
- Receive a one time verification code
- Choose how you’d like to receive the code: text message, phone call, or the DUO Mobile authenticator app

This helps keep your account protected—even if someone learns your password.

Why We’re Making This Change
Passwords alone are no longer enough to protect against today’s fraud and cyber threats. MFA is a standard security practice across financial institutions.

MFA is widely used across financial institutions and is one of the most effective ways to help protect your money and personal information.

What You Need to Do
To ensure a smooth experience when MFA is activated:
✅ Confirm your phone number and email address are current
✅ Watch for setup instructions from us
✅ Contact us anytime if you have questions—we’re happy to help

To help ensure uninterrupted access when MFA is enabled, please make sure your contact information is current.
