As 2021 winds down, so has our M-Club traveling for the year. I hope this year has allowed you many opportunities to spend time with your family and friends.

Despite the pandemic protocols, M-Club travelers were able to make two great trips this year. Our first trip was to the Paramount Theater in Aurora, IL to see “Kinky Boots.” Upon arrival, our bus dropped us off right in front of the theater and we crossed the street to the Meyer Ballroom for a catered lunch of chicken, roasted potatoes, green beans, and baklava for dessert. The food was amazing! We then strolled back across the street to find our seats for the show. What a fantastic production! The music and dancing kept us enthralled throughout the entire show. Everyone who attended this trip wants to travel to this destination again, so I will look for other opportunities to visit the Paramount Theater again in the future. 

Next, we made our annual trek to Arthur IL to Yoder’s Kitchen and to Sullivan, IL to The Little Theatre on the Square. Yoder’s Kitchen (an M-Club favorite buffet lunch) had numerous delicious options, including the option to pre-order their well-known and loved Angel Food cakes. Rumor has it, our bus left with 26 cakes in a variety of flavors! With our stomachs full, we then travelled to The Little Theatre on the Square to see “The Marvelous Wonderettes.” What a fun and entertaining show, you could not help but sing along! We also had a grand time on the bus playing bingo and celebrating an M-Club traveler’s birthday and an upcoming wedding for our Personal Banker Sara who left for Las Vegas 2 days after our trip to get married!
